We are looking for Computer Monitors for the new Computers that are soon to be installed in the school.

They need to be flat screen and at least 18".

Irish Language Courses

Gaelchultúr’s Irish language evening classes for adults will begin in a fortnight (the week commencing 4 February 2013) in the following venues: Dublin, Carlow, Cork and Limerick. We’re offering one month’s free subscription to a ranganna.com course to everyone who books a night class with us this spring.
We will also have live online classes available worldwide this spring.
The Certificate in Professional Irish (Level 3) will commence on Wednesday, 6 February and The Certificate in Professional Irish (Level 4) will commence on Thursday, 7 February.
The Intensive Course in Written Irish will begin on Saturday, 9 February, and our next Irish Language Course for Hibernia Applicants will start the week commencing 10 April.

There is a 'Next' Puffa jacket in the lost and found box at the school. It is a size 7 and has a non-detatchable hood.

There is a lovely photograph at the back page of today's Examiner (Tuesday 22nd January 2013) taken by Genevieve's (Senior Infants) dad.

Coffee Morning / Book Sale

A coffee Morning / Cake Sale will take place on Friday, 22nd February 2013 at the Temperance Hall.

We are asking all parents to either donate a book or bake a cake for this event.

There are boxes inside the main door where you can put your books. If you are baking a cake there will be people at the scoil on the morning of the cake sale to collect your cake from 830, or alternatively you can drop your cake directly to the Temperance Hall.

All proceeds from this event will go to updating the computer system in the scoil so please do what you can to make this a successful event.

After School Club

Just a note to clarify that the School Club starts anew every term.  Just because your child attended Club the previous term does not entitle them to a place the following term.

Notices are posted on the NuachtEile website prior to the beginning of term and it is imperative that you register your child for the club at that time, as spaces are limited.

Should you wish your child to attend from now until Easter and you have not already registered, please text your child's name and the days required to 087 6214277 immediately.
