Last call for Camden Fort Meagher for 2015!

Camden Fort Meagher, Crosshaven finish their summer season in style this weekend, Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September 2015. The closing weekend line up includes the “Irish Military Living History” and the “Romans” Re-enactment Groups as well as live music and fun for all the family!
IMLH Group are dedicated to bringing history back to life! Their mission is to give people an impression of what life was like for the average soldier, to educate the public of a time gone by and the sacrifices made by so many.  The Re-enactment groups are regular at the fort and always guarantee a fun and educational day out for military enthusiasts and families alike! Charlies Trad and Folk will provide live music at the weekend, including Uilleann pipes, Bodhran, Banjo and Tin Whistles. This is your final chance, this year; to visit Camden Fort Meagher, so don’t miss out!

Camden Fort Meagher is a Cork County Council Restoration Project in partnership with a dedicated group of local volunteers. Overlooking Cork Harbour and internationally recognised as being "one of the finest remaining examples of a Coastal Artillery Fort in the world”. Enjoy an ideal family day out with lots to see and do, including underground tunnels and chambers, exhibitions and harbour view Tearooms.
 
Admission: €5 per adult, €4 for 4-18 years old and children under 4 go free.
