The next PA meeting will take place on Wednesday 13th January 2016  in the White Lady Hotel at 8.30pm. All welcome. Please note that the meeting on the 6th January 2016 has been cancelled.

Cake Sale / Rang 4 / Monday 21st December 2015

This months cake sale will be hosted by rang 4 and Muinteoir Roisín this coming Monday 21st December 2015. We have decided not to have it on Friday as usual as all classes will be in the church on Thursday evening for our school concert and so it would be unfair to expect 4th class and their parents to bake on Thursday. So if all kids can bring at least €1 to school on Monday to buy a bun or cake to support our ongoing school fundraising. There will be gluten free cakes available and a strict nut free policy adhered to for all baking - including no almond flour.

School Fundraiser December 2015, a great success!

A huge thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets..It was a great success ..We made €1240 for the school which is fantastic. Thanks a million to all those who helped out and thanks particularly to Ger Cullinane and Virginia Lynch for doing a great job with getting sponsors for prizes and organising the ticket sales. 

Finally thanks to our sponsors for coming up trumps with such great prizes.

We will not be holding a Christmas concert / end of term performance so as not to interfere with the school's own Christmas Concert. 

There will be a performance organised before the Easter holidays instead.

The eagerly awaited school calendars featuring our little darlings are now available from Hilda's  office from today. Only €10 each. They will also be available at the school concert on Thursday. Limited availability, so make sure you get yours early.

Pat Price is the national U16 basketball coach and he is running a 'Holiday Basketball Skills' camp at Riverstick Sports Hall.

Costumes for the “Nativity Play”

The children in Naíonán Mhóra are working very hard on their “Nativity Play” for this year’s Christmas Concert in Kinsale Parish Church on 17th December 2015 at 6pm.  Their show is the same as previous years and hence we are asking if families would like to donate or loan costumes for this year’s “Nativity Play”.  If you have a suitable costume that you would like to donate or loan to the school for the Junior Infant’s show, then please bring it in to Múinteóir Ciara before Friday 11th December 2015.  Clearly mark the costume with your name, and have it in a bag with the type of costume labelled on the bag, i.e. ”costume for angel”, “costume for shepherd”, etc.  If you wish to have the costume returned to you after the show, then please let  Múinteóir Ciara know.
