Céilí Mór in aid of the Gaelscoil at 8pm on Friday 5th February 2016 at Actons Hotel

Hi Folks,
The end of the longest month of the year is almost here!!!
Its almost time to blow away those January blues and to live a little again.
Some of the words used to describe last years Céilí " Great Craic", "Fantastic Fun", "Sweaty", "very social", "great atmosphere", "Drunken", "Buzzing", "laugh out loud good time".

Why not come along and think up some of your own words for this years Céilí (keep it clean!!)

How can I get tickets?
Tickets are on sale from Trish and Orla in the after school club between 2:30 and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.  We will also send home an envelope with your child this week. Please follow the instructions on the envelope.

If you are thinking about coming along we are strongly recommending that parents, if possible, buy the tickets beforehand from the Gaelscoil, as this is a joint event with St Multose School. The Gaelscoil will get 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales before the event and only 50% of the ticket sales on the night (split with Multose).

Please note this event is open to everyone and anyone, so if your other half cant make it, grab a couple of friends and come along anyway.

We are also looking for some help with spot prizes. If you have any "spare" gifts from Christmas, birthdays etc that you could donate as spot prizes it would be most appreciated. Last year we had a range of prizes from tins of USA biscuits and Bottles of wine/whiskey to coffee machines to a four ball at the old head.

Thank you for making this a great event.

Céilí Mór ar son an Gaelscoil ag 8pm ar Aoine an 5ú de Feabhra 2016 i Óstán Actons

Hi Folks,
Tá deireadh  leis an mí is fuide sa blian beagnach anseo !!! Tá sé in ám mí na hEanair a cuir taobh thiar dúinn agus chun cónaí beagán arís. Taréis an Céilí an  mblian seo caithe cuid de na focail a úsáidtear chun cur síos a dhéanamh ar ná "Craic Mór", "Spraoi íontach", "Boladh brean",, "atmaisféar iontach"  "an-sóisialta", "buzzing", "bhí me ag gáire amach os ard".

Cén fáth nach dtagann tú agus déan suas do chuid focal féin don Céilí i mbliana (choinnighí glan iad!!)

Conas is féidir liom ticéidí a fháil?
Tá ticéidí ar díol ó Trish agus Orla san chlub-tar-éis-scoile  ag 2:30-05:30 ó Luan go hAoine. Cuirfimid freisin clúdach abhaile le do pháiste ag deireadh an tseachtain seo. Lean na treoracha ar an gclúdach. Má tá sé mar intinn agat teacht, tá muid ag moladh go láidir, más féidir, na ticéidí a ceannacht roimh ré ón Gaelscoil, mar tá an Céilí có-eagraithe le scoil Naomh Multose. Gheobhaidh an  Gaelscoil 100% de na fáltais ó díolacháin ticéad roimh an imeacht  agus 50% de na díolacháin ticéad ar an oíche (scoilte le Multose).

Tabhair  faoi deara go bhfuil an ócáid seo oscailte do gach aon duine ar bith, mar sin má tá do leath eile gafa, gabh cúpla cairde agus tar ar aon nós.

Táimid ag féachaint do roinnt cúnamh le duaiseanna  láthair. Má tá aon bronntanais "le spáráil" agat ón Nollag/breithlaethanta go b'féadfa a bhronnadh mar dhuaiseanna láthair bheadh sé an cabharach. An bhliain seo caite bhí réimse de duaiseanna ó boscaí stáin de brioscaí USA agus Buidéil fíona / uisce beatha  go mheaisíní caife go ticéadí Golf ag an Sean Cheann.

Go raibh maith agat as ucht  do cabhair don ócáid iontach seo.
