Tickets for the bingo fundraiser day which is on Sunday, June 12th are still available from Hilda during school hours or from The Greyhound Bar. We would like to give the hotel an idea of how many are going so can parents please send in the envelopes or get their tickets before Thursday this week.

Congratulations to our own Siobhan Devlin who once again represented Ireland at the 2016 Lisbon ETU Triathlon European Championships.  Siobhan had a spectacular finish time of 2:38:54.

“Club Na Mara”
Afterschool Club
Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile

At Club na Mara, children participate in supervised homework along with plenty of outside time and time to relax inside with a variety of activities.  Hot meals are provided for those wishing to avail of this service. Otherwise, children can bring in their own meals and snacks and these can be stored in a fridge and reheated as necessary.

Club Na Mara is available to all children from 1.30pm to 6pm each day.  Children can be booked into the Club at regular times each week.  Club Na Mara is also available to parents/guardians who wish to book children in on an ad hoc basis from time to time as and when child care needs arise.

Cost:
€5 per child per hour for those booked into Club each week.
€7 per child per hour for children attending now and then (ad hoc)
€2 per meal per child

A Big Thank You!

A great big thank you to the parents and children in junior infants who raised €397.15 in their cake sale last Thursday (19th May 2016) . And a special mention to the 5th class kids who helped the junior infants do their selling and took any unsold cakes to the gate and managed to sell them to the parents at collection time. Future entrepreneurs

BINGO FUNdraiser at the Macdonald Carlton Hotel Sunday 12th June 2016 starting 3pm. Ticket price includes all bingo books, finger food and fun fun fun! All profits go to Gaelscoil Chionn tSaile

Family Ticket €40 (2 adults and 2 kids) and additional Tickets €10 each available from the Gaelscoil or from the Greyhound bar.

Envelopes for the Bingo fundraiser went out in the bags last Thursday (19th May 2016) and ask that they please be returned to the class teachers by Wednesday 25th May 2016. If any family did not receive an envelope  can they please let Aileen Hurley or Grace Crowley know.
