Thank you!

We are the artistic committee for the Simon Community Fundraiser 2017. We are sure you must have seen our beautiful posters up around Kinsale advertising last Friday’s coffee morning. So we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped us to raise €3,001.33 for Cork Simon Community. To those who baked, donated money, donated raffle prizes, who attended on the day, to the teachers for allowing us to do it, to Darren on our web team for taking the time to put up all our posts and a huge thank you to Carol for organizing this annual event.

We contacted Cork Simon today and once again they have asked us to buy sleeping bags again this year. They are delighted with the huge amount we raised and we are delighted that we can make some difference to our homeless people this winter. So Happy Christmas to all and a final thank you for your support from the children of 5th and 6th class.

KYCC St. Patrick's Day Fundraiser

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to, supported and helped out with the Kinsale Youth Community Cafe Fundraiser on St. Patrick's Day.  We raised a whopping €675.00 which is absolutely fantastic!!

Our cafe has no means of income and plenty of outgoings so fundraisers like this give vital funds to keep us going. The cafe is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer Youth Leader please call in and collect a Garda Vetting form and we can take it from there.  If you have any skills, information or ideas for fundraisers or events that you would like to share with us please do not hesitate in contacting me Trish Ryan on 087-9475367 or you can access the KYCC team on the following facebook page

The Kinsale Youth Community Cafe is in dire needs of funds!

On St Patrick's Day this week we will be selling Delicious Hot Chocolates for €2 from the hatch at the Youth Cafe (the blue building alongside Dinos) from 3pm to 5pm, 17th March 2017.

We would be delighted with all the support we can get. If you and your children are in search of a hot drink and a tasty treat on the day please come along and support this amazing facility for the Youths in our town.

In addition we need the following supplies so if anyone can assist with anything on this list we would be very grateful:

- sleeves of takeaway cups
- hot chocolate powder
- marshmallows
- any baked goods and treats that we can sell - rocky road, brownies, buns, cookies, etc.
- if anyone would like to help out on the day for an hour that would be fab too!

Your support is very very much appreciated.
Go raibh míle maith agat!
