Crannchur / Raffle le haghaidh 'CORK STREET CAFÉ'
Rang 5 and Rang 6 are organising a raffle in aid of The Cork Street Café. There are many prizes to be won such as; a hamper, chocolates and bottles of wine.
We would appreciate it very much if you could enter. Due to Covid-19, we will try to handle as little things as we can so we will not be handing you back a ticket(s) but we will contact the prize winners.

Calling all young people. Cork County Council’s Library and Arts Service is asking you to get creative for our annual Literature and Lego Day. We want you to make a character or scene from your favourite book or even a monster or creature - you can use Lego or anything else you might find around the house. TG4 announced its Christmas movie schedule today. Included here is information about Irish language versions of children's movies that will be aired over the Christmas holidays on TG4. Lego Ninjago as Gaeilge will air for the first time on Christmas Day at 11:30am.

Good afternoon. My name is Jonathan Comerford, I work with Cork Institute of Technology on a project called DojoMór. I am contacting you to ask for your support on behalf of the Higher Education Authority.
DojoMór is HEA-funded, nationwide, online coding fun-day for young people aged 7 – 17. Multiple workshops will be hosted from 9 locations around the country this Saturday morning. The workshops will deliver fun coding activities like programming a micro-chip, coding a virtual robot, building a software app, making music, building a website, and creating games.
Attached is more information. If you could circulate the information about this event within the school network that would be great and maybe we can get a few more sign-ups!
This virtual event starts at 10am on Saturday 24thOctober. There are currently over 4500 registrations from around the country and bookings can be made up until midnight this Friday at www.dojomor.ie.

Children’s Influenza Vaccination Programme - Kinsale Medical 2020
Kinsale Medical will commence a children’s influenza vaccine clinic for 2 to 12-year old’s next Thursday 22nd and Friday 30th October from 5pm. This clinic will be held in the Primary Care Centre adjoining Kinsale Medical.
This is for children registered to Kinsale Medical, please ring 021 4772253 for an appointment time.
If you or your child is feeling unwell please do not attend your appointment. We would ask you to please cancel your appointment so we can give your appointment time to another child.

She is a member of the Irish National Teachers Organisation, Teaching Council, Association of Health Promotion Ireland and the Society of Occupational Medicine. She is Mental Health First Aider and has also completed further CPD in Health Coaching, Mindfulness and Nutrition. Dorothy has recently co-written the INTO online course Leadership and Wellbeing. As a parent, teacher, mental health specialist and leadership & wellbeing specialist, Dorothy fully appreciates the challenges faced by parents and is well placed to offer guidance to parents in these difficult times.
