This FAA Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health qualification is suitable for anyone who actively connects with children such as parents, carers, teachers, youth group leaders and young adults. The qualification has been designed with children and young people in mind covering areas such as depression, self-harm, eating disorders, bullying, PTSD and Conduct Disorders and the all-important awareness of Safeguarding when addressing children and young people, and will provide the knowledge and skills to identify a potential mental health condition, start a conversation, and provide support and guidance to professional help.
This exciting NEW one-day course is available in both face-to-face or distance learning options, is regulated by Ofqual and the qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework, and is now available for learners over the age of 14, so it is a valuable course for both students and members of staff alike.
